Community and Public Relations

Achieving good relations with the communities and publics in which clients operate is important to long-term success.  Such conditions are developed and maintained through a well thought out and carefully executed plan that understands the importance of relationships based on mutual respect, the power of thought leaders and the value of communicating clearly to audiences.  Our firm offers particular expertise in the Philadelphia region and works through a network of contacts in other urban areas to provide the relationship base required to achieve strong results for our clients.

We have expertise and experience in providing community and public relations services to clients engaged in construction and development projects.  In this regard, we have developed particular skills in designing and implementing communications plans for construction efforts that severely disrupt communities and the various publics that form the fabric of neighborhoods.  We also provide guidance and counsel to organizations concerned with the development of urban communities.  In this context, we utilize our expertise and relationships to bring projects to fruition that reflect the needs of the community, developers and other entities through the development and execution of public outreach campaigns. 

Organizational Development

Our Organizational Development practice helps clients to enhance their performance by addressing specified needs or those determined through a formal assessment process. Importantly, we employ a holistic approach to organizational development and work jointly with management to develop solutions to complex and challenging problems.  Organizational design, customized training, business process analysis and the design/conduct of solution oriented retreats are examples of the services that this practice provides for our clients.

Business Development

Our business development practice provides our clients with a wide range of services that are holistically based.  Business development begins with business definition.  From this foundational perspective, business, strategic and operational plans can be prepared.   We work with our clients to prepare such plans to guide business development, providing implementation assistance that includes helping them to raise the necessary capital for start-up and expansion.

Strategic Planning

We assist organizations to develop strategic plans that will help them succeed.  We begin by conducting an organizational assessment. We then follow this analysis, by working with their leaders to develop mission and vision statements. Armed with this information, we guide the organization to develop strategic objectives and programs, consistent with their mission and organizational culture to achieve the vision.  We remain available to provide on-going assistance as they implement the plan. 

Marketing

Customer satisfaction must be central focus of every organization.  We strongly believe such a focus is best achieved through the preparation and implementation of a fully developed Marketing Plan.  In addition to helping clients to prepare such plans, we provide a full range of implementation services in the areas of market research, market potential, segmentation, product design, distribution policies, promotional programs and pricing policies.  In the product area, the firm has substantial experience in the design of innovative programs to meet human service needs.  We also provide targeted promotion and motivation services that are increasingly sought by our clients that seek to influence urban and/or ethnic markets.
